How to Reconnect an Offline Player to Wi-Fi

Modified on Wed, 07 Jul 2021 at 10:43 AM

The easiest way to know whether your device is offline or not is by going to the Player Status page.

  • Green dot = online
  • Red or gray dot = offline

You'll also want to check the last column (Last Check-In).

To reconnect your device to the internet you'll need to be near the TV it's hooked up to with the remote that came with it. Then follow these steps:

1. Press the Home button on the remote control, then select Settings

2. Select Network > Expert Wi-Fi Settings

3. Locate your network, select it, and click Forget

4. Select your network again and enter your password

5. Press the Back button on the remote to dismiss the on-screen keyboard, then select Connect

After you start the playlist again, your player should appear online on the Player Status screen (you'll need to refresh your browser). It should automatically download and display updated content within the next few minutes. If you'd like, you can force an immediate update by Manually Redownloading the Playlist.
