Modified on Mon, Apr 25, 2022 at 11:09 AM

Player Status is an easy way to keep track of your players connection status and to send remote commands.

Accessing Player Status

Once you're logged into your TruDigital account, on the left-hand side of the page click "Player Status".

This will take you to a list of players currently on your account.

Color Indicators

Next to your player will be color indicators.

Green - No issues to report. All systems are up and operational.

Red - The player has not checked in for over 24 hours, check the players connectivity and ensure it has an active internet connection.

Yellow- The player has not checked in for over 12 hours, check the players connectivity and ensure it has an active internet connection.

Zip Code

The players zip code can be updated by clicking the edit box, this will be able to take effect on things such as the weather template.

Last Check-in

Your player checks in with Trudigital every 15 minutes, this ensures your player has up-to-date content. You can use the "Last check-in" box to see your player's most recent check-in date and time. (NOTE: This column will always display in Mountain Time Zone)

Expand

Next to your player's color status indicator, there's a dropdown arrow. Clicking that dropdown arrow can be used to see more helpful information about your player. This information ranges from your content being updated to your Wi-Fi mac address.

   Actions

This button can be used to issue the following remote commands for your player.

Activity Log - This can be used to view recent activity on your player.

Set Timezone - This is used to set a time zone for your player.

Update App Version - This is used to send a software update to the player if it's available.

Send Support Log - This may be requested to be done when speaking with one of our support agents.

Redownload Playlist - This is used to issue a redownload command to your player, if your player is showing incorrect or old information this will request a new copy of your content to be downloaded.

Reboot Device - This is used to restart your player.

Keep in mind that remote commands require a green color indicator/active internet connection to work and will take about 15 minutes.
