Tutorial: Google Integrations

Google Integrations are a great way to display important and meaningful Google Drive content on your player. This tutorial will walk you through setting up Google integrations that we have available.


Google Slides


Step 1: Select the Google Slides Integration from your template library and click “Install”.

Step 2: Once in the “My Templates” area, select the Google Slides Integration and click “Edit”.

Step 3: Click the “Edit Template” button towards the top of the screen.

Step 4: Click the “Edit Mode Active” bar towards the top of the screen.

Step 5: Enter the shareable Google Slides link, select the duration of each slide, and click “Save”.

Step 6: Click "Save changes" then click “Back”, add the template to your live playlist and you’re done.











Google Sheets

Step 1: Select the Google Sheets Integration from your template library and click “Install”.

Step 2: Once in the “My Templates” area, select the Google Sheets Integration and click “Edit”.

Step 3: Click the “Edit Template” button towards the top of the screen.

Step 4: Click the “Edit Mode Active” bar towards the top of the screen.

Step 5: Enter the shareable Google Sheets link and click “Save”.

Step 6: Click "Save changes" then click “Back”, add the template to your live playlist and you’re done.



Google Docs

Step 1: Select the Google Docs Integration from your template library and click “Install”.

Step 2: Once in the “My Templates” area, select the Google Docs Integration and click “Edit”.

Step 3: Click the “Edit Template” button towards the top of the screen.

Step 4: Click the “Edit Mode Active” bar towards the top of the screen.

Step 5: Enter the shareable Google Docs link and click “Save”.

Step 6: Click "Save changes" then click “Back”, add the template to your live playlist and you’re done.



Shareable Links -  To display your Google integrations on the player the links must be public.



Creating Shareable links (Google docs, sheets or slides) 

Step 1: On a computer, go to Google Drive and choose Google Docs, Sheets or Slides.

Step 2: Click the file you want to share.

Step 3: Click Share or Share   and choose Get shareable link.

Step 4: Under link sharing ensure “Anyone with the link” is selected and click done.

Creating Shareable links in Google Slides 

Step 1: On a computer, open your Google Slides presentation.

Step 2: Click the share button at the top right.

Step 4: In the resulting window, make sure “Anyone with the link” is selected.

Step 3:Click Copy Link.
