How To Set Up Klipfolio

Step 1: Create a Klipfolio dashboard

Once you’re logged into your Klipfolio account click the Create a dashboard button or click Dashboards > Add a Blank Dashboard, once this step is finished you will be taken to a blank dashboard where you can add your “Klip”.

Step 2: Add your Data.

Step 3: Publish your dashboard

Next you will need to publish your dashboard that way your player can display the data. On the dashboard you will want to share it via published link click the three-dot menu icon > Click Share > Publish link to dashboard. In the Publish link to Dashboard screen enter a Dashboard Name. Select the Theme (Light or Dark) in which you want your dashboard to display. At Visibility, by default “Anyone with the link” will be selected Click Publish Now, this will provide you with your dashboard link.

Step 4: Dashboard Link

Copy the link that was provided on that page and login to your truDigital account, add the truDigital Klipfolio template to your playlist and once the template is added click the Klipfolio template and select edit.

Step 5: You should now see a preview of the template. Click on Edit Template in the top left of the page: Click the “edit mode activate box” and choose edit, paste the dashboard link into the requested area and click save.

Step 6: Saving your template

Now we'll want to save the changes to the entire template. Move the mouse over the Save Changes button in the top left and click Save Changes in the drop down. You should now see your dashboard appear on the screen. Click the Back button to go back to your playlist and click the blue edit button, drag the template from My Templates over to the Live Playlist and Finally, click Save.

Step 7: Complete

Your Klipfolio dashboard has been added to your playlist. Your player should automatically update and begin displaying it within the next few minutes.
