How To Add A Video To A Playlist (Tutorial With Screenshots)

There are 3 steps you'll need to follow to

add a video to a playlist:

1. Install a new video template to your playlist
   
   
2. Edit the template and put your video into it
   
   
3. Add the template to your live playlist

STEP 1: Install a new video template to your playlist

• Click Manage Playlist in the Menu on the left side of the screen:

• Find your playlist and click the Edit button:

Now that you're on your Playlist page, you can add your new video to an existing template or you can create a new template. For the purposes of this tutorial, we'll create a new one.

• Click on Template Library:

• Find the template called "Full Screen Video"
  • TIP: If you have a lot of templates in your library, you may want to use the search box and search for "Full Screen Video"

• Once you've found the template, click it and select Install:

STEP 2: Add the video to the Full Screen Video template

Now that you have a new Full Screen Video, we'll want to edit it to add your video.

• Click on the Full Screen Video template to open the context menu, and select Edit:

• You should now see a preview of the template. Click on Edit Template in the top left of the page:

• You should now see a window called "Edit Video Player Plus". Here is where we can upload our video file. Click the Upload button:

• Then select the video from your computer and click Open:

• The video should now appear in the Media Library. 1. Remove the placeholder video by selecting the (-)Minus sign, then 2. drag and drop your video into the Video Playlist on the left:

• You can add multiple videos to one video template. When you have added all your videos, click the blue Save button:

• Now we'll want to save the changes to the entire template. Mouse over the Save Changes button in the top left, and click Save Changes in the dropdown:

• You should now see your video appear on the screen. Click the Back button to go back to your playlist:

OPTIONAL: Rename your template

You may want to rename the template so you can distinguish it from other templates you have installed

• Click on the Full Screen Video to open the context menu, and select Rename:

• Since this template contains my sample video, I'll name it "Sample Video":

STEP 3: Add the video template to your playlist

• Now all we need to do is add the video template to the playlist. Click Edit underneath Live Playlist:

• Then drag the template from My Templates over to the Live Playlist:

• Finally, click Save:

Your video has now been added to your playlist. Your player should automatically update and begin displaying it within the next few minutes.
