Legacy Tutorial: How to add a Vimeo Video

First, you will need to copy the URL from Vimeo that you want to add to your Playlist. 

(If you already have your Vimeo Video URL, you can skip steps 1-3)

Step 1 - Go to the video on Vimeo that you want to add to your playlist 

Step 2 - Click on the "Share" button below the video

Step 3 - Now select "Copy link" 

Ensure the Link Privacy is set to Public

Now that you have the URL, you can begin the steps on your truDigital playlist

Step 4 - Go to "Manage Playlist"

Step 5 - Select "Edit Playlist"

Step 6 - Click on "Template Library"

Step 7 - Search "Vimeo" to find the template listed as "Integration - Vimeo" click on it and select "Install"

Step 8 - Once installed, it will show in your My Templates tab, Click on the Youtube Live template and select "Edit"

Step 9 - Select "Edit Template" in the top left corner

Step 10 - Click on the box that shows "Edit Mode Active"

Step 11 - Check the box to agree to Vimeo's Terms of Services

Step 12 - Now you can paste the URL from Vimeo. 

(This is the URL you copied on step #3)

Once you paste it, click Save

Step 13 - Now hover over "Save Changes" in the top left and click "Save Changes"

Now should see the preview for your video

Step 14 - click Back

The Vimeo Template is ready to be added to your playlist -

We recommend renaming the template to help keep your templates organized.

Step 15 - Now under Live Playlist, select "Edit"  

Step 16 - Click and Drag the Vimeo template from "My Templates" over to the "Live Playlist"

set the duration of the Vimeo template to the same length of your video

Step 17 - Click "Save"

The Vimeo video is now on your Live Playlist and your truDigital player will download the updated playlist within the next 10-15 minutes.
