Your truDigital remote can be programmed to send signals to other devices that use infrared remotes, such as televisions. To do so, follow these steps:
- Press the SET key on the truDigital remote for 3 seconds. The light should stay on after releasing the button.
- Press the button on the truDigital remote that you want to assign (note: only buttons in the "TV Control" area can be programmed). The light should start flashing.
- Place the other remote in front of the truDigital remote so that the IR transmitters are facing each other, as close together as possible.
- Press the desired button on the other remote for about 3 seconds, until the light is solid again.
- Press the SET key once more to confirm.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for any other keys you want to assign.
