When you set a schedule for a template, you are setting a window of time during which the template is allowed to play. Outside of this window, the template will be skipped. The scheduled time will work relative to the time zone set on the player, so make sure that the time zone is set. You can set the time zone in the player settings with the remote control, or on Player Status by clicking the orange Actions button.
The scheduler is not designed to force specific templates to start displaying at exact times. When you set a schedule, you are defining the window of time during which the template is allowed to play. The player will continually rotate through all playlist items in order, and when it comes to a template which is scheduled, it will check the schedule to determine whether to display that template or skip it.
Follow the steps below to schedule an individual template on a playlist
Step 1: From your Dashboard, select Players
Step 2: Click on the Playlist you want to add the template to
Step 3: select Add Media
Step 4: Find and select which template you want to schedule, click Next
Step 5: Choose if you want to Add this to the playlist or have it replace the current playlist, then Confirm
Step 6: Now you should see it under Live Playlist, click on the calendar logo to set the schedule
Step 7: click Schedule and set the Start and End Time for this template
If you want this schedule to repeat, set that option to Daily, Every other or you can choose which days you want it to repeat/display
Daily - Will repeat every day during the times selected
Weekly - Will repeat weekly on the same day of the week
Monthly - Repeat monthly repeat on the same date (i.e. content playing on the 4th of October will repeat on the 4th of November, 4th of December and so on).
Step 8: click Save
Now you should see the schedule underneath that template, click Save under Live Playlist
Now this template is scheduled to display from 11/10-11/12.
After those dates, it will expire and no longer display on the screen.
