Enterprise Tutorial: How to add a Video to an individual player

There are 4 things you'll need to do to add a video to your player.

  1. Upload the file(s) you want to add, view tutorial here.

  2. Install a new video template to add your video to

  3. Edit the template and put your video into it

  4. Add the template to your player


Follow along with the steps below to add a video to your truDigital player.



STEP 1: select "Media Manager" 





STEP 2: click "New Template" 





STEP 3: Find the template "Full Screen Video", select it and click "Next"

If you have a Vertical screen, you will install the vertical version.




STEP 4 : now the template installed, Hover over the template and click on the Pen
 to edit





STEP 5 : select "Edit Template"





STEP 6: You should see the file you uploaded before these steps. Drag and Drop it from the right to the left (be sure to remove the truDigital placeholder image by selecting - )

If your file is stored on your computer, you can upload here. You'll need to follow these steps if you want to add a file from Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive.

STEP 7: once you're finished adding your Video to the left, select "SAVE"



STEP 8: Hover over Save Changes then click Save Changes




STEP 9: Now exit out of this browser to be brought back to Media Manager





Now this Full Screen Video template is ready to be added to your player


Follow the steps below to add it to an individual player or you can follow these steps to add it to multiple players at once.



STEP 10: On the left Click on "Players"



STEP 11: select the Player name that you want to add this image to



STEP 12: select Add Templates




STEP 13: Find and select the Full Screen Video Template then click Next




STEP 14: Choose how you'd like to add this template to your player then Confirm




STEP 15: click "Save" under Live Playlist




Your image has now been added to your player. Your player will automatically update and begin displaying it within the next 10-15 minutes
