Tutorial: Facebook Integration

You can use the Integration- Facebook template to add your Facebook Page posts as they happen to your Live Playlist, allowing you to easily display your content via Facebook.

Below are the steps you'll take to install, edit and add this integration to your Live Playlist.

Step 1 - From your Dashboard, select "Manage Playlist" on the left

Step 2 - Select "Edit Playlist" next to the playlist you want to add this to

Step 3 - Click on "Template Library"

Step 4 - type "Facebook" into the search bar. Click on either "Integration - Facebook" templates and select "Install"

The other templates labeled as Social - Facebook are used to give a shout out to your Business Page, they do not display any of your page content. 

Step 5 - Once installed, you will be brought back to the My Templates tab and you should see the Integration - Facebook template listed, click on the Facebook integration and select "Edit"

Step 6 - Click "Edit Template" 

Step 7 - Click on the grey block showing "Edit this block to view/edit the Facebook Integration"

Step 8 - Click "Login with Facebook"

Step 9 - Enter your Facebook Login Credentials

Step 10 - Click "Continue as _______" (your facebook name)

Step 11 - Check the box next to Page you want to display

Step 12 - Confirm settings are showing as "YES" , this will allow truDigital to display your Facebook page then select "Done"

Step 13 - Click "OK"

Step 14 - Confirm your page name is showing correctly, adjust any duration settings then select "Save"  

Step 15 - Hover over "Save Changes" in the top left then Click on the "Save Changes" below  

Step 16 - Click "Back"

The Facebook template is configured to your Facebook page now, follow the steps below to add it to your Live Playlist

Step 17 - Click "Edit" under Live Playlist

Step 18 - Click and Drag the Facebook template so its under the Live Playlist

Step 19 - Click "Save" under Live Playlist

Now the Integration for Facebook is ready to display in your Playlist, your player will automatically download the new content within the next 10-15 minutes
